Last weekend, some of the Tabitha Circle and others from Trinity, led by Lori Doyle, made and sold scones for the annual “Scones for School” to assist Concordia Lutheran Church in Worcester in providing backpacks and school supplies for students. Lori had the great idea to combine the scones sale with the farmstand that sets up each Saturday. So on Saturday, right next to the farm stand, the scones were being sold in the parking lot. It was great to hear the Trinity ladies telling customers about Trinity and why they were selling scones. What a cool way to be in the community! On Sunday, the leftover scones were sold before and after worship. Thank you to all who donated supplies to make the scones. Thank you to the Trinity folks who spent Friday night baking and Saturday and Sunday selling the scones and thanks to all who purchased these delicious treats. We are so grateful for the Tabitha Circle for their good work that supports others in our community. And BIG thanks to Lori Doyle for coordinating these efforts on behalf of us all. We love you!
