Collections and Donations During June

There are multiple ministries that you can support with tangible donations. You can bring donations with you to Trinity and deposit them into the appropriate bins in the hallway leading to the Nave.

Necessities for Neighbors will be collecting new travel/trial size hygiene products for the month of June. These items will be given to a local organization working with individuals experiencing homelessness. For people who are carrying all of their belongings with them, smaller bottles and containers weigh less and are much more manageable and portable.

Little Free Pantry is a new ministry that we are doing at Trinity. The Little Free Pantry will be installed this summer. You can donate items on an ongoing basis. CLICK HERE for a list of items to donate.

Carty Food Cupboard is a Food Pantry that we support throughout the year, blessing items that we collect on the First Sunday of the month. The Carty Food Cupboard serves hundreds of people who live in this part of Worcester. Their current needs are:
Grape Jelly in plastic containers
Plain instant oatmeal
Regular size boxes of cereal (13-15 oz)
Cooking oils (vegetable, olive oil etc.)
Thick, heavy, reusable plastic bags (like the ones that Shaws in Worcester distributes)
Paper shopping bags WITH handles only

Wednesday Night Alive! is our new evening summer program that we are doing in lieu of Elm Park Ministries Day Camp. One of the crafts that we will be doing requires lots of empty paper towel and toilet paper tubes. You can bring your empty ones to Trinity so that they can be upcycled! Please note that these types of donations will be “quarantined” prior to children using them to ensure that germs are not present. Donations of individually wrapped snacks are needed too (fruit cups and fruit snacks, crackers, bags of salty snacks etc.). Financial donations will be appreciated too so that we can purchase supplies as needed.

Contact Jena Hill jhill@trinityworc.org if you have any questions about any of these opportunities!
