The organization we know as Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) has changed its name. Now, the social service organization in greater Worcester is In the Hour of Need Family Shelter (IHN).
This shelter for homeless families with children on June Street provides housing and all life-sustaining needs for up to six families. Trinity Church is a charter member of IHN and Cantor Mark Mummert serves as on the board of directors and as our congregational representative.
Trinity Church hosts at the house two weeks a year. Our next week is November 28 through December 4. If you can help at the house with hosting duties during the dinner hour (5:30-8:30 p.m.), please contact Cantor Mark at 713-256-5980. Or, if you would like to contribute to meals for the house that week, make a gift to our congregation’s Good Samaritan Fund.
