In-person worship returns Sunday, July 5. Office and Building partially reopen in July.

By decision of the Congregational Council, in-person worship remains suspended through the end of June, with a return to in-person worship scheduled for Sunday, July 5.  Beginning on that Sunday, members and friends of Trinity will have two opportunities for weekend worship with liturgies offered both online/television and in-person.

Sung Liturgy Online/Television – The Trinity Staff and TV Team will continue providing a pre-recorded sung Service of the Word liturgy for home devotional use available for viewing on the Trinity website and local cable access stations. Those considered at-risk for the coronavirus, seeking to minimize their exposure to the virus, or unable to attend Sunday morning worship for other reasons are strongly encouraged to utilize this resource for weekly worship.  The content will continue in the same format as the past several weeks with a sermon by Pastor Nathan, hymns sung and led by Cantor Mark, and a children’s message and prayer led by Jena Hill.  This content will be available online beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday evenings.

Spoken Liturgy In-Person – Beginning Sunday, July 5, a spoken Service of the Word liturgy will be held in the Nave on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. This content will include scripture readings, prayer, and a sermon by Pastor Nathan. Due to ongoing concerns about transmission of the coronavirus through singing, this Sunday liturgy will not include hymns or congregational singing.  All participants will be required to wear masks (unless prevented by a medical condition) and adhere to all posted physical distancing guidelines – including designated seating arrangements.  Parents attending with young children are strongly advised to have one adult per child to help maintain six feet separation from other congregants.  This service will not include a children’s message.  At its July meeting, the Congregational Council will consider a return to celebrating the Eucharist in August.  Coffee Hour in the building is suspended until at least September.

Wednesday Night Worship will remain online for the rest of the summer with sung Evening Prayer on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. on Facebook Live.

Memorial Services/Funerals may return beginning in July but with restrictions.  All physical distancing guidelines for worship must be followed, including no singing and attendance limited to around 50 people due to seating/capacity requirements. Jeppson Hall and Fellowship Hall will not be available for reception following the service.

Church Office Staff are working on Tuesdays and Thursdays and can be reached in the office by phone/email/appointment between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on those days.  The Office, however, along with the Building remains closed to members and outside groups through the end of June.  Beginning July 1, the building will open for select activities approved by the Ministry Staff and Council.  Building Manager Frank Ricardo can be reached in the building Monday through Friday.

The Ministry Staff will have no posted office hours in the building through the end of June and are best reached on their cell phones or by email.

If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Nathan Pipho or Council President Nancy Fontneau.
