Tabitha Circle & Summer Reading Books

Tabitha Circle is once again sponsoring a book drive for summer reading books for the kids at Concordia.  Summer and reading go together like burgers and dogs!  We are collecting books for the kids at Concordia to help them fulfill their summer reading requirements for school and just for fun.

If you have gently used books in your kids’ bookcases or can find them at yard sales, please bring them in the next few Sundays.  Savers and Goodwill are also great sources.  From first readers and picture books to classics and series, there’s always some kid who is thrilled to grab a new book.

We are also looking for summer clothes of any size!

Time after Pentecost

Throughout history, countless stories have portrayed the foreign woman as the primary source of trouble. In the gospel reading for this coming Sunday, a foreign woman argues her case before Jesus, but in the end she is blessed. Come to hear this interesting story, and join us for mercy at the Master’s table.
