The Way: Dialogues on Race

It’s not too late to join the conversation led by Pastor Nathan, Cantor Mark, and Jena Hill on contempary issues of race.  The Ministry Staff is using new curriculum produced by Augsburg Fortress designed to create a safe space for opinions to be heard and respected, turning potential conflicts into community.  Using a short DVD introduction and a participant book, participants will reflect together on such issues as the social construct of race, the Bible and race in the United States, the dehumanization of black bodies, intersecting natures of oppression, black and white Christianity, and struggles with racial reconciliation.

Join the conversation held in the Trinity Library on any of the following times:

  • Sundays at 9 a.m. – Pastor Nathan
  • Sundays at 11:45 a.m. – Cantor Mark
  • Wednesdays at 7:15 p.m. – Jena (Hardy) Hill
