Over the past month, conversation has begun among the Ministry Staff, the Congregational Council, the Executive Committee, the Personnel Committee and the Finance Committee exploring staffing options moving forward. Initial possibilities being discussed include expanding the role and responsibilities for the Director of Youth & Family Ministry, becoming a teaching parish hosting a full-time seminary intern, and/or calling either a part-time or second full-time pastor.
As part of the conversation, next Sunday Pastor Sara Anderson, Associate to Bishop James Hazelwood, New England Synod, will be at Trinity to participate in a Q & A during the 9 a.m. Adult Forum and the Coffee Hour following the 10 a.m. liturgy.
Beginning in January, watch for ways you can participate in formal times for conversation and reflection sponsored by the Congregational Council. Feel free to contact the Council officers with any questions/concerns: President Jessica Sutherland (firstname.lastname@example.org); Vice-President Jacob Schur (email@example.com); Treasurer Scott Baeder (firstname.lastname@example.org); and Secretary Susan Brown (email@example.com).
Also, Pastor Nathan encourages you to reach out to him at any point in this process. He looks forward to hearing your hopes and dreams, your fears and concerns, and to answer any and all questions you might have about this transition process and moving forward. He can be reached by Phone: (508) 753-2989 Ext. 13; Email: firstname.lastname@example.org; or, feel free to drop a note in his office mailbox. To God be the glory!
