During the annual picnic, all will have opportunity to learn about the many ways to volunteer to assist with our congregation’s worship. After learning about the various tasks such as ushering, singing in the choirs, playing handbells, serving as crucifers or acolytes, assisting the assembly with the prayers of intercession, scripture readings, or communion distribution, greeting, or baking bread – all will be able to sign-up to serve throughout the year ahead and schedule training in the various tasks.
