Lent and Easter Adult Forum: ELCA Social Statements

Pastor Nathan invites you to join him during the Sunday of Lent and Easter at 9:00 a.m. in the Trinity Library for an Adult Forum series studying ELCA Social Statements.  During Sundays in Lent, the series will focus on social statements pertaining to the human body. During Sundays in Easter, the series will focus on matters of church and the world.  Participants will read and discuss the Executive Summary of each statements and are encouraged to read full statements available on the ELCA website at: www.elca.org/Faith/Faith-and-Society/Social-Statements.

ELCA Social Statements are teaching and policy documents that provide broad frameworks to assist us in thinking about and discussing social issues in the context of faith and life. They result from extensive process of participation and are adopted by a two-thirds vote of an ELCA churchwide assembly.  Please contact Pastor Nathan for more information.
