Worship this Sunday
We invite you to join us for worship this Sunday! Whether you are a life-long Christian or beginning to explore spirituality for the first time, you are welcome at Trinity Lutheran Church. We look forward to seeing you soon!
We invite you to worship with us at one of our two weekend liturgies. A prerecorded online sung Service of the Word is made available at https://vimeo.com/trinityworcester by 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays for home worship. An in-person spoken Holy Eucharist is held in the Trinity Nave at 10:00 a.m. Sundays with attendees wearing masks and following posted physical distancing guidelines. We commune with the bread only, received directly from the Presiding Minister in mask and gloves. Both liturgies are based on the appointed Sunday scripture readings. In light of the ongoing risk posed by the Coronavirus we invite you to make a responsible and healthy decision in experiencing God’s Word in the liturgy right for you and your family. BIBLE READINGS, PSALM & SONG, & THEMES Jonah 3:10—4:11 God’s concern for Nineveh Philippians 1:21-30 Standing firm in the gospel Matthew 20:1-16 The parable of the vineyard workers Psalmody: Psalm 145:1-8 The Lord is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. Hymn of the Day: Hymn 724, All Who Love and Serve Your City, NEW ORLEANS The parable we hear this coming Sunday might strike church-goers as troubling: what, shouldn’t we get paid more if we work longer hours?! The last shall be first? Come to worship, to meditate on the good news found in this story and to receive the meal of God’s mercy.Event Information:
