Holy Eucharist is offered at Trinity Church on Sundays at 8:00 a.m. in Christ Chapel and at 10:00 a.m. in the Nave. This worship service is also available to watch and hear online via our Vimeo channel or through our congregational website.

Lutherans teach and confess that Christ is present in the assembly gathered around the proclaimed Word of God, in the water and the Word of Holy Baptism, and in the shared meal of bread and wine at Holy Communion.

Commemoration of Hildegard, Abbess of Bingen

Genesis 50:15-21 Joseph reconciles with his brothers

Romans 14:1-12 When brothers and sisters judge each other

Matthew 18:21-35 A parable of forgiveness

Psalmody: Psalm 103:8-13 Lord, you are full of compassion and mercy

Hymn of the Day: ELW Hymn 605, Forgive Our Sins As We Forgive, DETROIT

The gospel this coming Sunday is a harsh parable about forgiveness. Yet even if we feel condemned by this reading, we receive God’s mercy at the table of the Lord. Come to worship, to be forgiven, and to be empowered to forgive others.
