Holy Eucharist is offered at Trinity Church this Sunday at 10:00 a.m. in the Nave. The 10:00 a.m. service is also available to watch and hear online via our Vimeo channel or through our congregational website. A service of Morning Prayer is sung this Sunday at 8:00 a.m. in Christ Chapel.

Lutherans teach and confess that Christ is present in the assembly gathered around the proclaimed Word of God, in the water and the Word of Holy Baptism, and in the shared meal of bread and wine at Holy Communion.

Genesis 3:8-15 God confronts Adam and Eve

2 Corinthians 4:13—5:1 Renewed in the inner nature

Mark 3:20-35 Doing the work of God

Psalmody: Psalm 130, Wait for the LORD, for with the LORD there is steadfast love

Hymn of the Day: ACS Hymn 1016, Cast Out, O Christ, CONSOLATION

This Sunday’s readings deal with the power of evil, which is pictured as a snake in paradise and as a demon who opposes the will of God. Mark also gives us a startling picture of Jesus’ relationship with his natural family. Come to worship: we are now Jesus’ mother and brothers.

As you browse this site, God give you strength, hope and joy in Christ Jesus for the living of these days.
