Serving others. It’s not very complicated. Jesus said, “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.” Then he said, “Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.” (Matthew 25:35-40).
Here are some of the ways we serve those in need in our community:
Eucharistic Ministers … deliver Holy Communion to homebound members of the congregation
In the Hour of Need Family Shelter (IHN) … is a biannual week long event providing housing assistance to those facing homelessness in Worcester County
Meal Packing … thousands of meals are packaged for local residents experiencing food insecurity
Tabitha Circle … is a group of Trinity members that conducts various projects throughout the year to provide basic necessities to our neighbors in need.
Worcester Interfaith … Trinity is a member of the interfaith organization that advocates for policy change in the City of Worcester for our neighbors most in need.
