On the first Sunday of each month, Trinity Church gathers non-perishable food items for the Carty Cupboard Food Pantry at Wesley United Methodist Church in Worcester. Items are collected in a shopping cart which normally has been in the hallway outside of Jeppson Hall. Beginning this Sunday, and on the first Sunday of the month going forward, the shopping cart will be moved into the Nave, near the Jeppson Hallway doors, so that donations collected may be blessed at the conclusion of the liturgy. As we pray over the donations, we will pray that the items may feed the hungry in Worcester and that the Spirit may move us to advocate for equitable food policies ensuring that all are fed.
