Building closure extended to April 7 by Massachusetts stay-at-home advisory

The Church Office and Building remain closed and the closure is extended through Tuesday, April 7, 2020 in response to the stay-at-home advisory extended by Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker on March 23, 2020.   All public gatherings for worship are currently suspended, including Sundays, March 29 (Fifth Sunday in Lent) and April 5 (Palm Sunday), Wednesdays, March 25 and April 1, and funerals.

The Baker/Polito Administration has deemed workers at places of worship as COVID-19 essential workers.  Trinity Church staff will remain working in the building on limited schedules. Pastor Nathan and the Trinity Ministry Staff are working from home, but are available to respond to pastoral emergencies and to coordinate delivery of food, supplies, and other essentials to Trinity’s home bound and elderly members.  Additionally, the Ministry Staff will be meeting with the Television Team to provide online worship content for Sundays. All volunteer and other activity in the building is prohibited March 23 to April 7.

Let us pray … O God, where hearts are fearful and constricted, grant courage and hope.  Where anxiety is infectious and widening, grant peace and reassurance.  Where impossibilities close every door and window, grant imagination and resistance.  Where distrust twists our thinking, grant healing and illumination.  Where spirits are daunted and weakened, grant soaring wings and strengthened dreams.  All these things we ask int he name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
