During the month of June, Trinity Church flies a rainbow flag in celebration of Pride Month and as a visible welcome to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) persons. In 2011, the congregation voted to become a “Reconciling-in-Christ” congregation of the ELCA extending intentional welcome to LGBT persons. Trinity also lives out its welcome to LGBT persons by participating in Worcester Pride activities in September and supporting the work of the LGBT Asylum Support Task Force in Worcester at other times of the year.
