Former TLC Christian Preschool teacher Christy Fyfe has been hired to an interim position as Trinity’s Youth & Family Lay Leader. “Miss Christy,” as the children will call her, has over 30 years of experience in preschool education, and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a K-2 teacher. Most recently Christy, and her husband Matt, were the lead volunteers for Trinity’s 2024 winter basketball program.
The interim position of Youth & Family Lay Leader (March 2024 to June 2025) was recommended by the Listening Team, and confirmed by the Council, in response to the conversations fostered by the Listening Team in consideration of staffing needs after Jena Hill’s resignation last Fall. Funding for the position was approved at the 2024 Congregational Annual Meeting. The Listening Team will continue to evaluate the growing and changing needs of the youth and families for 2025.
