On Sunday, September 15 at 4:00 p.m., the Trinity Choir will offer a choral vespers to include the fascinating cantata by Benjamin Britten, “Rejoice in the Lamb.” The cantata, with text by Christopher Smart, praises God in the voices of animals, the alphabet, and musical instruments. The vespers service includes scripture readings, prayers, silence for reflection, and hymns for all to sing. All are welcome. A free-will offering will be received.
